Oh Yea!! a day of not traveling. The first thing I did was put the steps back together. They still don't work but we can walk in and out. As most of the campers headed back out to I95 for another day of traffic, we enjoyed breakfast on the grill(eggs and scrapple). After breakfast we cleaned up and
just as we were ready to leave, Shari called. I was on the phone for 1 1/2 hours catching up with all the O'Donnell news.
We headed into Beaufort SC for a late lunch and to look around a bit. Lunch was great, we ate at the 'Foolish Frog' Diane had blackened scallop tacos and I had a shrimp salad. We stopped at Publix's on the way home and still made it back for most of happy hour. Just a snack for dinner and we called it a day.

The weather is warm but it just won't clear up, misty on and off all day. We walked around the lake here, a nice walk takes 30-40 minutes. It would drizzle and then quit before you can run for cover. We did a few things around the camper. Diane did laundry and made stuff cabbage in the crock pot. YUM. We both repacked clothes, the shorts/capris come out and long johns got put away.
We did get our walk around the lake in again today and even went for a short bike ride. The campers keep rolling in ever night and leaving each morning and they all complain about the traffic on I95. We hope most of the congestion is gone by the 5th when we leave.
Happy hour started a little early, dinner was great and then the rain picked up and we called it a day.

Breakfast on the grill(sausage and pancakes). Let me back up a little. After a fair amount of rain last night I went out to make breakfast. Water was lying all over the place but the grill and our rug were dry, or so I thought. I stepped right up to the grill and I hear goooish as my feet sink into three inches of water. Turns out our rug was floating on the water. Diane came out laughing 'cause she watched it all from inside the Moho. We laughed and after dragging the grill back out of the water we had breakfast. We walked poor Rudy, he hates the water and rain is all we've getting. Another short shower came through this afternoon and to make matters worse there was a water main break that ran unchecked half of the night, don't need that water laying around.
By the time we were ready to go to town it was 2:30. So we stayed home again today. I worked on and fixed the step problem. Turns out there was a wire that came loose on the button sensors on the door. Now we have working steps. YEA! Diane was cleaning and then finished repacking her clothes and we put the bins back under the Moho and before we knew it was happy hour(close enough). Ham steak on the grill as the skies finally cleared. The evening walk did require a sweatshirt as temps cool off a bit.
