Saturday 24 December 2022 (Christmas eve)
Our first day of rest after the I95 trip. We slept in, it was sure nice to relax all day. I think three days of bad weather driving screwed up our equilibrium. I had to concentrate so hard and focus on the taillights ahead of us that it left us with a little vertigo. After a nice hot cooked breakfast, we set the bar for today kind of low. Diane did a run to Kroeger's for a few grocery items. I hooked up the water and sewer, dumped the tanks and that was it for chores. We remembered a nice seafood restaurant from when we were here before and spent hours trying to find it on maps or in the blog. Diane finally found what we thought was it, on a restaurant search. We called they were open until 3 or 4 or 5 depending on how much business they had. So, we drove the half hour to the place, The Flying Fish. It wasn't the one we were looking for but, now it was 1:30 so we went in. The place was cold, we sat and ate with our jackets on, food was ok at best. Walked around a gift/antique shop next door, nothing to be found. Back to the Moho put on some Christmas music on and played a game of Mexican train (dominoes).
Sunday 25 December 2022 MERRY CHRISTMAS to all

Monday 26 December 2022
Back at it this morning and a much, much, much, better experience, 33 and sunny as we pulled out. We were on the road by 10:00 and traveled down I95 unimpeded. We stopped for gas and then at the Florida visitors center for a nice lunch and to get our free orange juice. It is a small glass but oh so good. 51 degrees, even Rudy wanted out for another walk. We arrived at Camp Blanding at 2:30 173 miles 4 1/2 hours minus a hour for lunch avg speed 50 mph, much better. The nighttime temperatures

are still below freezing. Piles of ice around the water faucets from leaving then run all night. None of the campgrounds down here have frost free hook ups. I filled the freshwater tank and grilled sausages on the grill for diner. It was still in the 40's as I grilled. Getting warmer every day should be close to 70 when we get to Webster.
